Google Ads that bring in leads, not just clicks
SEO is a long game. Google Ads is how you get leads this week. Done right, paid search puts you at the top of the results for exactly what your customers are searching, and you only pay when someone clicks.
Why most Google Ads campaigns fail
Most businesses waste money on ads because the campaigns are set up wrong: broad targeting, no tracking, and no one watching the numbers. I build and manage campaigns focused on one thing, a measurable return on every dollar you spend. I manage Google Ads and PPC for businesses and organizations across Litchfield County and western Connecticut.
Certified management
Google Ads certified, plus Microsoft, LinkedIn, and Meta. Campaigns built around searches that become customers.
Real tracking
Proper conversion tracking so we know what a lead actually costs, and can lower it over time.
Plain-language reporting
Honest reporting you can actually read, with no jargon and no vanity metrics.
Your ad budget is separate, and it's yours
You pay Google directly for clicks. My fee covers building and managing the campaigns, nothing more. The account is opened in your name, you own it, and if we ever part ways it stays with you along with every bit of its history.
Most local businesses here start somewhere between $250 and $1,000 a month in ad spend. Once we know what a lead actually costs in your market, we scale from there. I'll tell you honestly what your market needs before you commit to anything.
What it costs
Flat monthly fees, tiered by how much you're spending on ads. Not a percentage of your budget, because I don't think the person managing your spend should earn more every time they tell you to spend more.
Campaign Build & Launch
$950 one time
Campaigns don't get fixed after launch, they get fixed before it. This is where the money is either saved or wasted.
- Account structure built from scratch, in an account you own
- Keyword research, match types, and a real negative keyword list
- Ad copy written and tested against your actual services
- Conversion tracking for form fills and calls from your ads, verified end to end
- Landing page review, so we know where the clicks are going to land
- Budget and bidding strategy set to your market
- Location targeting tuned to the towns worth paying for
Already running ads? I'll audit what's there first. Sometimes the account is worth rebuilding and sometimes it just needs fixing, and I'll tell you which before you pay for a rebuild you don't need.

Let's talk
Campaign Build scoped separately.
At that level the account earns real strategic attention and the fee should reflect the work, not a formula. Tell me what you're spending and what it's returning.
What you won't find here
No percentage of spend, so I never profit from telling you to spend more. No long contracts. Three months to get through the learning period, then month to month. No borrowed account you lose access to if you leave. And no ticket queue. I answer my phone, any day.
And if paid search isn't right for your business, I'll say so. Some local businesses are better served by SEO and a good website than by a monthly ad budget.
Run ads and SEO together, and save
This is the smart combination. Ads generate leads right away while your SEO and Google Business Profile build momentum in the background. Over time more of your traffic comes free, and you can dial ad spend up or down as you like. Run a trades or home service business? See my approach to Google Ads for contractors across Litchfield County and Connecticut.
The discount isn't a gimmick. Running both genuinely costs me less: one tracking setup instead of two, one reporting cycle, one strategy conversation. You get the savings that come from that.
The combined rate
10% off your combined monthly fee
Applied to whichever tiers you are on, so the saving grows as the work does.
$1,450 setup instead of $1,700
The SEO Foundation and the Campaign Build overlap on conversion tracking, analytics, and keyword research. Buying them together means you only pay for that work once.
Why it actually works better
Ads tell you within weeks which searches turn into paying customers. That's information SEO normally takes six months to learn, and it's the single most useful input for deciding which pages to build and which terms are worth chasing.
Run separately, those two efforts guess at each other. Run together, the ad data points the SEO work at the terms already proven to convert, and as those terms start ranking you can pull ad spend off them and put it somewhere new.
Questions people ask
Does your fee include the ad budget?
No, and be careful with anyone whose answer is unclear. You pay Google directly for clicks, on your own card, in your own account. My fee is only for building and managing the campaigns.
How much should I spend on ads?
Start somewhere around $250 to $1,000 a month. That is enough to gather real data without gambling on a number picked in advance. Once we know what a lead actually costs you, we scale to whatever that maths justifies.
Why a flat fee instead of a percentage?
Because a percentage means I earn more every time I tell you to increase your budget, and you shouldn't have to wonder whether that advice is for your benefit or mine. A flat fee means the only way I look good is by making your existing spend work harder.
Do you track phone calls?
Calls that come straight from your ads are tracked at no extra cost, because Google reports those. Tracking calls that come from your website needs a paid service on top, plus setup and management, so that is an add-on at $95/mo. Worth it once you are spending enough that you need to know which calls came from where.
How fast will I see leads?
Days, not months. That's the point of ads. Expect the first two to four weeks to be a learning period where we're gathering data and cutting what doesn't work, so judge results at month two or three rather than week one.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
Three months to start, then month to month. Three months is roughly what it takes to get through the learning period and have numbers worth judging. After that, if it's not working, you should be able to walk.
Who owns the Google Ads account?
You do. It's opened in your name, and if we stop working together it stays with you with all its history intact. Agencies that keep the account in their own name are holding your data hostage.
What if I'm already running ads?
I'll audit what you have before proposing anything. Sometimes an account needs rebuilding and sometimes it just needs a negative keyword list and better tracking, and those are very different bills.
Can you do more than Google?
Yes. I work with Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn and Meta. For most local businesses here, Google search is where the ready-to-buy customers are, so that's usually where we start.
Curious whether ads make sense for you?
I'll review your situation and tell you honestly whether paid ads are worth it, and roughly what it would take to work in your market. The review is free.
